It’s 3pm, there were 9 deliveries before ours, according to their tracker, the delivery driver gets here, pulls out measuring tape and measures all the doors. The fridge had a depth of 28 7/8” and our narrowest doorway was 29”. We purchased a fridge, we measured the fridge and all doorways that it would need to fit through for delivery.

As an outcome, I had to higher different company to install the washer and the dryer. The Home Depot was useless in resolving the issue. I was verbally abused by a delivery crew when I questioned their attempt to scam me. They find many many reasons to decline installation. The Home Depot delivery team is not interested to install. Future customers, take notice and believe what you read in the reviews posted. I wish I had seen these reviews prior to my purchase. My house is a wreck and I’ll never shop at Home Depot again as I don’t believe Home Depot has lived up to their responsibility. In fact, I had no knowledge the installation would be done by a third party.
I paid Home Depot for the appliance and installation. After 10 days of no contact, Sedgwick is referring me to the installer they hired. Home Depot submitted a claim through their third party claim administrator, Sedgwick. I have been working with Home Depot management to get resolution on the damage to my new home. After the call about the refusal to install the panels, I noticed all the damage in my stairwell. While I was on the phone with Home Depot, the installers left. I didn’t see the damage until they installed the refrigerator on the second floor. Aside from that, my refrigerator was scratched on the side. These clowns damaged my hardwood floors on each step, the walls and the ceiling. My stairwell ceiling height of the first of the first 3 stairs was 85”. To assure the refrigerator would fit through the stairwell, I removed the railings from the wall which made the width of entrance 42”. I purchased a counter depth refrigerator with dimensions of 26” depth, 34” wide and 72” height. On 9/29/22, the refrigerator arrived at my new home. I eventually spoke with management who notated my order to give the discount after delivery. The rep said if it was applied, we would have to cancel the order and repurchase the appliance. Two days later, I received a 15% new home credit certificate in the mail so I returned to the store for the adjustment. I was ok with that so I placed the order. Before placing the order, I inquired about the annual Labor Day sale and the rep informed me that should the price decrease, a credit would be issued. The rep charged me for installation of three glass panels as part of my order. This has been an absolute horrible experience!! I ordered a refrigerator on from Home Depot. Do not use Home Depot appliance delivery! They are horrible and rude rude rude Didn’t even turn on it on He left all the appliances in the middle of my living room and laughed at me when he went out the door. I had a $4000 worth from my account one paid for before today, he put the stove in place. He then refused to take the old refrigerator with him because he wasn’t installing the new one. He then refused to install the microwave because the gap was on the wrong side. The water shut off valve underneath the kitchen cabinet wasn’t good enough. When Ro Ruez came in, he said he wouldn’t install the refrigerator nor the dishwasher because there wasn’t separate water shut off valves behind each of them. It took over a month to deliver for appliances with multiple reschedules. If you don’t think you can’t get what you want service wise, YOU do the job And we’ve had a lot done! Just want to say thanks to the Route 71 guys from this morning. Over 20 yrs+ we’ve just never had problems, issues, period. Great service! I read some terribly negative reviews, I can only think people do it for attention. Old machine out, new machine in-maybe 20 minutes. Had a new washer delivered and installed this morning. Looking forward to hearing from someone asap. Question is what happen to the stove order? We really need this stove. Ordered a 27in electric stove on Aug 30, 2022. They have the appliances I just can't get them to deliver.
