My headset is listed 2 times as Speakers as default device and default communications device. My monitor output is listed 3 times plus my actual speakers I have plugged in to my monitor. The sound card is listed as Internal AUX Jack in the sound control panel. You can adjust audio device effects and all the audio device settings in this App.

The microphone is listed twice and only one works since the other one is "not plugged in." The line in is the sound card I'm pretty sure. 'Realtek Audio Control' provides the best audio experience with the Realtek Audio Codec. Then a couple days ago, the audio stopped coming out of the headset so I plugged it into the sound card and it started working but the microphone is not detected at all. I have to select Speakers (7.1 Surround Sound) for the surround sound to work as per the instructions in the software. I also have the Razer Surround Sound software. My headset is also listed as Speakers (High Definition Audio Device) not as the name of the of the headset. My Razer Kraken's mic would be detected but would pick up game audio but not my voice. Unfortunately, i had to re-install windows 10 due to some problem with RAM, and all updates were gone along with dts sound drivers.

once I update the windows and it downloaded dts sound drivers automatically and they give a very good quality audio experience. It has a port for the hd audio so I used it and when plugged it in it was working fine. I have HP D9W48EAABV laptop and windows 10 running on the system. I have a sound card since I have a server motherboard with no onboard audio. You can still access all the advanced Sound settings in Windows 10 even if you dont have the audio manager from Realtek or your motherboard manufacturer, He.
